Sorry to bother you (USA, 2018) segna l’esordio alla regia di Boots Riley. Cassius Green, un televenditore nero di 30 anni con problemi di autostima, scopre di avere un magico potere nel riuscire a vendere agli altri. All’improvviso inizia a scalare i ranghi della sua compagnia, che vende prodotti e servizi atroci. L’ascesa della carriera di Cassius mette in guardia la sua brillante fidanzata, Detroit, un’artista che fa segretamente parte di un collettivo in stile Banksy chiamato Left Eye.

Sorry to bother you (USA, 2018) marks Boots Riley’s directorial debut. Cassius Green, a 30-year-old black telemarketer with self-esteem issues, discovers he has a magical power in being able to sell to others. Suddenly he begins to climb the ranks of his company, which sells atrocious products and services. The rise of Cassius’ career alerts his brilliant girlfriend, Detroit, an artist who is secretly part of a Banksy-style collective called Left Eye.
