In 1970s Pittsburgh, USA, the only way for an African American to get around from his neighborhood was to use an illegal cab called the Jitney. On stage, the stories of some taxi drivers and their passengers alternate with the syncopated rhythm of jazz and street language, questioning how to soothe the wounds of the past and have confidence in an uncertain future.
